In Yorkshire, we are not only blessed with some beautiful Yorkshire countryside and fantastic rivers but also some really good well-run Angling clubs. Some old angling clubs too.
The Derwent angling club in North Yorkshire that has the fishing rights of the upper Derwent it was formed in 1839. It is considered the second oldest in the country.
The Leeds and District Amalgamated Society of Anglers is one of Yorkshires biggest angling clubs. This club has a huge amount of water to fish. York and both Bradford clubs are similar very well run clubs. We list a few of the clubs on our site.
