Leeds have some of the best river fishing in our County, just mention Topcliffe and every barbel angler in the country instantly recognises the name. Once lost to a syndicate but now back to its rightful owners. Leeds & District. Skip bridge another favourite of mine in the past for trotting a float down for the dace fishing, Hammerton railway top again fishing for chub and barbel. sutton on Derwent for some superb winter roach fishing always a favourite river to fish in the cold months.

Look at the water Leeds have and you are spoilt for choice with the sheer variety that this club offer.  The first book I ever bought was a Leeds book, year in year out until I decided to expand my horizons further afield and explore most of the other clubs in Yorkshire. But as always I have promised myself the book this year once again I will be savouring the delights of Topcliffe on a misty morning Hunters lodge on a big feeder rod or the river Aire looking for new swims unfished by me.  See here for the Leeds website   Leeds
