Harrogate & claro Conservative Angling Club control this stretch of the Ure in Boroughbridge The fishing starts on the Left Bank downstream from the road bridge to the inlet of the canal at Milby about half a mile of fishing.Park across the road in the picnic area car park, there is a footpath from the bridge that runs between the river and the canal up to Milby lock gates, Please note the pegs are very overgrown and the banks are steep which makes it very treacherous especially when wet so great care is needed, The club could do with taking a good look at this and sort some of the access down to the river .That said Harrogate has some good water around Yorkshires rivers.
