Day Ticket Waters in Yorkshire river swale day tickets

Day ticket waters in Yorkshire

We have discussed river fishing here on this website and our social media groups and we are aware of the lack of information concerning day ticket waters in Yorkshire and free fishing within our county. In fact, the whole point of this website is to promote river angling within Yorkshire. We have had a few emails and a few guiding sessions and we came to realize a lot of anglers are still missing out. Anglers are requesting information of availability of day ticket waters in Yorkshire also Barbel fishing. We receive more requests for the availability of day ticket water on the river swale than any other river. Hence this post.

From the A168 park at the 3rd farm entrance and walk into the farm between the buildings go round the back to the right and put your money in the envelope provided and fill in the details then post it through the letterbox. Cundall Hall Farm is just below Cundall Lodge. Drive into the small village of Cundall from the A168 past Cundall Lodge farm and turn left at the small crossroads in the village. Going past the small cottage where you use to pay [those that can remember that] you go all the way down to the farm the road bears to the right park in front of the buildings and pay via the box on the wall.

Make your way through the second gate, not the first one as this is a private garden. Follow the fence around until you see the river. Towards the left are the more popular pegs and they soon get occupied at weekends. Looking to your right downstream the fishing goes to the Brafferton and Helperby stretch at Fawdington for about a mile away.
